As reported in Mashable, Facebook has launched a resource hub page for non-profits.
The new page includes a number of shortcuts to existing Facebook pages like Ads, Applications, Places, etc. There are also a few handy downloads including a 'non-profit guide,' which pretty much outlines the basics of creating a page and growing your base using Facebook's tools.
This is a great thing for Facebook to do. Their network of 600 million+ offers enormous potential for causes to grow their organizations at a (relatively) low cost. This type of social marketing assistance is very useful considering most non-profits have bare-bones budgets and often have to sacrifice their promotional efforts in favor of furthering their causes.
